Experience

Dr. Seligman graduated with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 1996, after completing a Bachelor of Science from Guelph University, Canada in 1992. After a one year residency with Dr. Jonathan Wright, and two years in private practice with Dr. Stephen Markus, Dr. Seligman opened Evergreen Integrative Medicine (EIMED) in 1999, Dr. Seligman graduated from the acupuncture program and began to incorporate acupuncture therapies into her practice. Dr. Seligman opened Evergreen Integrative Medicine, with the goal of integrating natural medicine with conventional therapies. Since opening EIMED, Dr.’s Seligman has worked diligently to stay on top of research in natural medicine and to provide her patients with high quality integrative care.

In addition to her private practice, Dr Seligman has authored articles for Allergy Research Group (Nutricology), the Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine, and Healthnotes online (the Kiosks found in many healthfood stores), and has published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals (*see below). As a consultant for ReCaps, Dr Seligman designed an entire line of high quality supplements which was sold at Nordstrom. Dr. Seligman was a member of the Bastyr IRB (institutional review board), a committee designated to ensure the safety of human subjects in research studies.
